Suzy Moncz CATA (CC), holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Athletic and Exercise Therapy, a certificate in advanced sport massage, and is a licensed First Responder Emergency Medical Assistant.
For the prevention and treatment of injury for both athletes and non-athletes, Suzy believes in the benefits of exercise and an active lifestyle as an avenue to achieve and maintain optimal health and wellness. Her treatment approach is individualized, goal focused and progressive, emphasizing on patient education and compassion.
Suzy has worked in various clinical settings including brain and spinal cord injury, and Industrial rehabilitation. In addition to her clinical work, she has a wide range of field experience working with Victoria based sports teams of every level, both providing immediate on field urgent medical care, supportive taping and bracing and fitness conditioning and training.
Her passion for helping individuals suffering from injury through therapeutic exercise and rehabilitation began early. As an athlete, participating in various activities including volleyball, judo, and Olympic-style weightlifting, she witnessed first-hand the significant effect that therapeutic exercise can have in promoting healing and return to sport and normal daily function. Suzy utilizes her skills, education and experience to help individuals on their journey to recovery and achieving their optimal potential both on and off the field. In the future, Suzy will be pursuing her certification as a certified exercise physiologist.
