James graduated from the University of Victoria with a BSc. Kinesiology in 2012.
James has a great breadth of experience with human movement, rehabilitation, and performance and enjoys working with individuals of all ages and abilities to help them achieve their goals through body mechanics, exercise, and lifestyle.
James has worked in Occupational Rehabilitation and has assisted many workers with their their return to work through exercise therapy, return to work planning, and appropriate prevention strategies. He has also worked as a personal trainer, an exercise therapist, and coach and assisted clients with making personal gains, lifestyle changes, and gains for competition.
Outside of the clinic James is a Professional Triathlete and competes in primarily long distance (IRONMAN 70.3 and longer) events. He is also a guide for an athlete who is visually impaired. Together, the two are on the Canadian National ParaTriathlon Team and are training for the Tokyo 2020 Paralympic Games.
