Synergy Health Management

Josh Pearson, BSc. MPT

Josh received his Master’s in Physical Therapy from the University of British Columbia and completed a Bachelor of Science majoring in Computer Science at the University of Victoria after transitioning from Mechanical Engineering.

His interest in recovery and performance began through his participation in the sport of olympic weightlifting, where he has dealt with many of his own sports-related injuries and learned to condition and prepare his body for the demands of the sport. Beyond olympic weightlifting, Josh considers himself a lifelong student and takes any opportunity he can to introduce himself to and draw inspiration from as many different schools of movement as possible, be it sport, art, rehabilitative, or exercise related.

Josh strives to make your rehabilitative experience simple and effective. He recognizes that a treatment plan is only effective if participated in and ensures that treatments and interventions are convenient, accessible, well taught and suitable to your goals and lifestyle. Josh has gained experience with all types of injuries and populations including sports injuries, motor vehicle injuries, work place injuries and strength and barbell athlete injuries. Outside of the clinic, you can likely find Josh at the gym, playing or watching sports, seeking the outdoors, taking in live music, or geeking out about health, fitness, nutrition, and psychology.
