Alec Myring
Alec graduated with a Bachelors Degree in Human Kinetics from the University of British Columbia in 2007. He worked as a kinesiologist in a private rehab studio before going on to complete a Masters Degree in Physical Therapy from the University of British Columbia in 2011.
Since his graduation from the UBC Physical Therapy program, Alec has continued his education and developed a diverse set of skills to treat all types of musculoskeletal and neurogenic injuries and pain. He incorporates multiple services and disciplines into a patient centred treatment plan that is developed after a comprehensive assessment of movement, function and pain. This includes; IMS (CGIMS), Acupuncture (CAFCI), and advanced levels of manual therapy from the Canadian Physiotherapy Association and Mulligan Concepts.
Alec enjoys working with patients of all ages and thrives in Victoria’s diversely active population that allows him to treat great people and interesting pathologies everyday.
