Peter completed a Bachelors of Science in Kinesiology at the University of Saskatchewan before becoming a Physiotherapist. Prior to achieving his Masters of Physical Therapy from the University of Saskatchewan, Peter also practiced as a personal trainer and strength & conditioning coach at the University of Saskatchewan’s Human Performance Centre. Peters experience includes extensive work with clients of all age ranges and abilities as well as athletes from multiple U of S Huskie teams and off-campus sport teams. Peter has also spent time in a smaller fitness and rehab-focused environment in Saskatoon and Victoria.
Peter takes an evidence-based, client-centred treatment approach. He will work collaboratively with you to set and reach your goals and empower you to return to your favourite activities. With his extensive history working in the exercise and fitness world, he believes that “exercise is medicine” and that everyone has the ability to take control of their health and rehabilitation with appropriate exercise prescription and education.
As an active person Peter has experience rehabilitating his own injuries, particularly from downhill skiing, playing rugby, and strength training. As such, he emphasizes the importance of the client’s experience in therapy. He enjoys treating patients of all ages and abilities and is excited to work with Victoria’s active population. Peter has a particular interest in pursuing further education related to neurological conditions and concussion management.
