Many of Synergy’s services and treatments are covered by common insurance plans in British Columbia, including the extended health plan provided by your employer, WorkSafeBC coverage, and ICBC coverage. The BC Medical Service Plan (MSP) may also cover some of Synergy’s treatments.

If you’re recovering from an injury, the BC provincial government health plan (MSP) covers core health services, including medically required services provided by a physician and diagnostic services such as x-rays and laboratory tests. The government health plan may also provide limited coverage for other services offered at Synergy Health Centre in Victoria, BC.
To ensure that you get the full range of treatments you need, Synergy Health works with insurance providers. We offer direct billing to most plans, including extended health benefits. Many workplaces offer extended health benefits that fund or reimburse treatments such as chiropractic visits, physiotherapy, massage therapy, orthotics, and visits with acupuncturists and naturopaths.
WorkSafeBC Coverage
If you’ve been injured on the job, WorkSafeBC (WCB) will cover treatments at Synergy that speed up your rehabilitation, including physiotherapy, chiropractic visits, massage therapy, naturopaths, and more. WorkSafeBC coverage may also fund braces and orthotics. Contact us, and we can help determine if this is possible.
ICBC Insurance and Medical Benefits
If you’ve been injured in an automobile collision, ICBC medical benefits may cover treatments such as physiotherapy, chiropractic visits, massage therapy, acupuncture, consultations with a naturopath, and visits with a kinesiologist. ICBC medical benefits also cover braces, orthopaedic supports, and other treatments as required. Check with your provider in advance to find out about specific treatments that fall under their guidelines.
