Nicole Hartfeld

Registered Psychologist

Nicole is a Registered Psychologist specializing in mental health, rehabilitation, and sport and performance psychology. She is passionate about connecting with others and offering compassionate support as they navigate the difficult parts of life. She believes in the ability of humans to adapt, grow, and heal.

Nicole’s academic journey brought her progressively closer to the West Coast as she completed degrees at the University of Guelph, University of Saskatchewan, and University of Calgary. After a decade of living in Alberta, she now calls British Columbia home.

Prior to becoming a psychologist, Nicole obtained her Master of Science in Kinesiology and worked at one of the International Olympic Committee’s research centres studying athlete health and well-being. Nicole continues to work with high performance athletes providing counselling and mental skills training. She specializes in supporting athletes with eating disorders, concussions, and performance anxiety.

Outside of work, Nicole enjoys outdoor activities, reading, and spending time with her family.
