As an Athletic Therapist, my mission is to help individuals return to their usual activities, exercise pain free, and reach their full physical potential. Whether on field or in the clinic, I am the first to respond to an injury, an expert at assessment and rehabilitation.
I have in-depth training in the human musculoskeletal system, exercise physiology, biomechanics, and basic emergency care. My methods involve implementing and utilizing various in-depth and client-centered manual therapies, modalities, exercise prescription, education, and bracing or taping to improve movement and function while decreasing pain.
I graduated from Camosun College with a Bachelor’s Degree in Athletic and Exercise Therapy, holding certifications such as Kinesiologist, CSEP Personal Trainer, Red Cross First Responder, Precision Nutrition Level 1, and World Rugby Medical programmes. I have gained invaluable skills and experience working with individuals at Rugby Canada, James Bay Athletic Association, Canucks Autism Network, and Athletic Therapy and Chiropractic clinics.
I was born and raised in the Cowichan Valley and enjoy living an active lifestyle that includes soccer, indoor bouldering, outdoor climbing, volleyball, hiking, and weightlifting. I also enjoy reading and have an infinite love for animals.
